Following Manitoba Regulations the library is now open to the public but only to a maximum of three patrons at a time, they must wear a mask and sign in for contract tracing as well as all other covid-19 rules that are in place in the library.
As you may be aware, the Manitoba Government plan to reopen includes libraries and is effective May 4th. The Rapid City Regional Library will continue to be closed for an additional week to let us finish an inventory project we started and let us set up the library as per the recommended requirements. Please note that when we do open on Monday, May 11th to regular hours the computers and reading area (couches and chairs) will still be off limits and loitering is not recommended. Thank you for your patience and understanding! If you need books between now and then, please don’t hesitate to call the library 204-826-2732 and we can make some kind of arrangement!
